Let's start this off with stating Christmas is my favorite holiday. Some of my fondest childhood memories take place during Christmas time, and with a young toddler of my own, I can't wait until she is a little older and we can do super fun and cheesy Christmas stuff together. Now that being said, I kicked off the 2017 holiday season by attending the Blue Jay Christmas Parade. Where is Blue Jay you ask? It's a really small unincorporated town in the San Bernardino Mountains. In 2000, the town had a whopping population of slightly over 2,100 - whoa!
The drive up to Blue Jay is really nice, as long as there isn't snow. This small town is located on the shady side of the mountain, so it can get pretty icy.
